Munich Re Specialty Group North America (MRSG N.A.) is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join us as we grow. As part of Munich Re Group, we are a unique organization providing expertise in specialty and marine lines of insurance as well as surety risks and customs bonds with in-house claims solutions.

 

We are seeking a full time Associate Claims Resolution Specialist, Surety to join the Shared Services division to be a hybrid employee in our Schaumburg, IL office reporting to AVP, Surety Claims.

 

Job Profile

• Daily monitoring of 500-1000 ongoing claims
• Continual communication by phone and email with parties involved in the claims process to assist in the resolution of claims
• Consultations with management, underwriting, and sales force regarding claims activity
• Distribution of claims reports to communicate insurance risk
• Analysis of regulatory laws to draft protests and petitions to reduce claims exposure
• Develop expertise in claims handling to educate clients

• Professional and confident communication skills
• Proficient writing skills
• Working knowledge of office software to complete reports, spreadsheets, and word processing
