We are looking for several university graduates and young professionals to join our global team. We offer new team members an opportunity to acquire sound expertise in accounting and claims handling before quickly assuming advanced responsibilities. You should have a keen interest in designing and implementing efficient, innovative processes; be an independent and curious thinker; and take pleasure in working in an international context.
In our hybrid working environment, you will report to one of the Heads of Section as part of our 12 teams at the Munich location.
Your job
- Independently check and post reinsurance statements of account
- Independently check and processing claims from our treaty and facultative business
- Process relevant large-loss notifications
- Administer payment transactions with our cedants; handle correspondence and reminders
- Enter and update treaty data in close liaison with our operational units
- Constructive cooperation with our touchpoints, e.g. Claims, Asset Liability Management and the operational units
- Collaborate with and support our other middle-office locations (Johannesburg, Madrid, Princeton, Singapore)

- Help develop new methods and processes aimed at creating a thoughtful digital working environment
- Contribute to automation and digitalisation projects, and their worldwide implementation
- Knowledge transfer in trainings
- Take ownership of a topic and coordinating it worldwide
- Participate in cross-departmental working groups and projects
Your profile
- Business degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s), preferably with a focus on accounting, controlling, finance or IT; or commercial training qualification with a very good result; preferably also with initial work experience
- Knowledge of IFRS and German Commercial Code (HGB) desirable
- Great affinity for accounting, very good grasp of numbers and data
- Excellent analytical and conceptual skills
- Confident and convincing manner and good networking skills to ensure successful cooperation with our touchpoints
- Exceptional teamwork skills and willingness to work in interdisciplinary and international teams
- High level of commitment and initiative
- Good written and spoken German and/or English (and willingness to expand upon these skills)
