Munich Re’s IT Risk and Security (ITRS) - Identity and Access Management team is responsible for the processes to manage identities, entitlements and privileged access in our global organization. The Senior ITRS Identity and Access Management Specialist is part of the global ITRS Identity and Access Management team. The ITRS Identity and Access Management organization supports all entities in the global Munich Re reinsurance segment. This position has the responsibility to consult and communicate on IT security access management strategies, recertification campaigns, guidelines and standards. It works closely with Business units, IT Business Solution and IT Business Technology Teams and provides guidance and advise in the area of Identity and Access Management to the MunichRe organization. The Senior ITRS Identity and Access Management Specialist will be responsible for one dedicated area in a subject matter (SME) role and support the stakeholders in the global Munich RE organization. The areas of specialization are Access Governance, Business Roles and KPI Reporting.
We are looking for a Senior ITRS Identity and Access Management Specialist supporting our User Access Management (UAM) Governance Team. The Access Governance Team is responsible for the recertification of access rights, user accounts and applications as well as identifying and monitoring segregation of duties conflicts.
Your job
- Design and implement recertification processes and campaigns. Derive requirements for system implementation as well as improvements.
- Engage with application owners in business units and IT to implement a comprehensive life cycle management of application entitlements and identities
- Establish metrics and reports to monitor risk exposure, the status of recertification compliance and establish processes to act on the results
- Consult on system access entitlements, accounts, approver groups and related standards and processes for recertifications
- Provide advice and guidance to business and application teams on Identity and Access management norms and standards
- Support internal and external audits and drive as well monitor remediation activities
Your Profile
- University degree and several years of experience in IT Risk and Security, preferably in the area of identity and access management
- Expert knowledge in Identity and Access Management as well as deep understanding of regulatory requirements and control frameworks
- Preferably experience with IAM tools like One Identity Manager / SailPoint in a business analyst or technical expert role
- Experience in reporting and establishing metrics in PowerBI or other solutions
- Very strong facilitation, presentation and multidisciplinary communication skills as well as confidence in engaging with senior (business) stakeholders
- Consulting and collaborative working style creating a culture of accountability and sharing
- Fluent command of business English and German
