The Opportunity
The responsibility for the role is to produce and underwrite profitable single risk and group public entity business that contributes to department and division results.
Key Responsibilities of this position include:
Underwrite multiline reinsurance and insurance submissions for public entity classes in accordance with division guidelines and philosophy
Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with appropriate contacts at existing and prospective client and production sources.
Respond to and find solutions to reinsurance and insurance client business needs with underwriter(s) and management distinguishing Munich Re Specialty – North America Public Entity Risk Solutions business and products from competitors.
Assist Regional Manager in the development of new or potential business clients.
Become proficient in the handling of larger, more complex accounts.
Effectively service assigned reinsurance and insurance accounts and production sources.
Exhibit a high degree of market awareness and provide consistent input to management on market activities.
