The Central Life Reserving (CLR) Global Oversight department is responsible for the reserves held in the Life and Health Reinsurance Portfolio. Specific topics of the team include the quality assurance and validation of results for North/Latin American and European business unit, as well as the consolidation, analyses and reporting of various quarterly and annual valuation results.
Your Job
- Provide technical and actuarial support within a diverse team collaborating across geographies as well as central and local functions
- Support to enhance guidance provided for the areas within the responsibility of the team
- Automate, enhance and document processes and controls needed to enable valuation closings, results analysis and management reporting under IFRS17
- Proactively identify opportunities for improved efficiency, including the testing and enhancement of existing reporting tools
Your Profile
- Currently studying towards a University Degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Statistics, or Mathematics.
- Nice to have knowledge of international accounting standards for insurance contracts
- Nice to have strong software skills and technical proficiency with Excel/VBA, SQL, PowerBI, Python, etc.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders
- Good analytical and conceptual skills, combined with ability to present complex matters in a simple way
- Highly organized and independent with strong time management skills
- Very good command of spoken and written English
