The Sub Section IAM & Security Platforms provides development and operational support for the Identity and Access Management (IAM) platform within Munich Re. The area of IAM provides a fast growing, dynamic and exciting environment with various project initiatives driven by regulatory requirements, business demand, or technological and organisational drivers.
As a Project Manager for IAM, you will be managing all aspects of the delivery and stakeholder engagement across the complete project lifecycle, utilizing classical or agile approaches in a complex and highly dynamic environment. You will be working with a team of Business Analysts, Developers, Testers, Architects and Operations specialist to deliver value to our customers.
Your role
- Define and manage scope, deliverables, times, cost and resources around the various demands.
- Actively manage the product backlog (Epics, Features, Work Items) and delivery process
- Monitor and report progress against the plans, ensuring consistent and transparent communications are provided to the various stakeholders
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders and act as the key point of contact for the IAM Team
- Coordinate project deliveries and ensure their sign-off
- Actively manage, troubleshoot and resolve escalated items
- Managing changes to the scope, budget, and schedule
- Guaranteeing the adherence to the standards and guidelines of Munich Re with regards to project and product management
Your profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or equivalent work experience.
- Multiple years of relevant work experience
- Experience in IT related project management, especially in the IAM or IT Security domains and related technologies
- Experience in agile software development and tools (e.g. Azure DevOps)
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to work globally across entities and cultures
- Proficient in both English and German
