Primary Objectives:

HSB is seeking a highly skilled and client-focused Claims Assistant to join our team in downtown Toronto or downtown Montreal. In this role, you will serve as a key liaison, supporting our efforts to enhance HSB’s claims capabilities and improve client experiences. The ideal candidate is customer-oriented, team-driven, and committed to delivering exceptional service.

Job Responsibilities:

Monitoring and managing incoming claims.
Setting up new claim files and assigning them to Claims Adjusters.
Generating reports as required.
Assisting Claims Adjusters with ongoing files and tasks.
Performing administrative tasks and special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

A minimum of post-secondary education is preferred.
3+ years of experience supporting personal lines claims.
Strong analytical abilities, excellent verbal and written communication skills, sound organizational capabilities, and effective customer service skills are a must.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Bilingual French and English is an asset
