As a subsidiary of Munich Re, we offer a dynamic and inclusive work environment, opportunities for growth and development, and a comprehensive benefits package. We are looking for a Field Adjuster to work in the Shreveport, LA area, traveling to policy holders' homes to handle property field claims from start to finish. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Handle property field claims from First Notice of Loss to conclusion, including investigation, documentation, coverage analysis, estimation development, and subrogation/salvage assessment.
• Provide guidance and support to policyholders throughout the claims process, with prompt communication and excellent attention to detail.
• Conduct field-based inspections to determine the extent of the loss and prepare detailed estimates and documentation to support insurance claims.
• Establish relationships with producing agencies.
• Participate in catastrophe duty as needed (up to 4 weeks, throughout the United States).

 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work/industry experience.
• Successful work history experience, post-degree.
• Some knowledge of residential and mobile home construction.
• A clean driving record and a valid driver's license are required.
• Ability to perform physical inspections, including climbing roofs and crawling through crawlspaces.
• Ability to ascend and descend ladders in excess of 12 ft.
• Ability to lift, carry, and set-up ladders weighing 40 pounds or more.
• Self-starter with excellent decision-making skills, ability to work under pressure, and solid organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with policyholders in a time of need.
