Cash Analyst
Job Description:
We’re adding to our diverse team of experts and are looking to hire those who are committed to building a culture that enables the creation of innovative solutions for our business units and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Review and evaluate all incoming receipts from Treasury Services and maintain excel spreadsheet to ensure all receipts are properly identified.
- Record, identify, and distribute electronic cash receipts for Reinsurance Accounting.
- Apply daily cash receipts and disbursements for assigned book of business.
- Confirm changes to client’s banking information and start workflow
- Resolve all cash and account discrepancies through research and communication with the accounting units and all internal/external clients including all domestic and international branch offices.
- Perform billings/collections of the monthly premiums for Treaty Installments and Facultative Certificates
- Assist in the preparation of special projects, monthly analyses, etc.
- Meet all cash closing schedules on a timely basis.
Qualifications:
Successful candidates will possess the following experience, skills, and capabilities:
- Associate Degree (Accounting or Business degree preferred)
- 2+ years of insurance accounting experience.
- Strong communication skills both oral and written.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
