Our International Graduate Trainee Programme offers you exciting insights and a thorough introduction to the diverse activities of a leading global reinsurer. This provides you with the exceptional opportunity to advance your expertise and drive your personal development.
Over a period of 24 months, including an international assignment, you will receive in-depth training in professional, methodological and social skills, which will qualify you for assuming responsibility at Munich Re worldwide. Your Job
- Work on varied topics focusing on understanding, modelling and managing risks in the context of regulatory requirements (in particular Solvency II)
- Develop methods and processes for risk assessment and risk reporting, with emphasis on automated and efficient processes and tools
- Experience the opportunities and insights offered by one of the world's leading risk managers
- Participate in an international assignment of three months to broaden your intercultural experience
- Acquire profound knowledge of our business as a as well as further developing your soft skills in our distinguished global learning programme
- Take the opportunity to quickly build a broad network of industry experts within Munich Re worldwide
Your Profile
- Very good university degree in mathematics, actuarial sciences, statistics, economics or a similar degree with a quantitative background
- Initial work experience (e.g. internships), ideally in the areas of risk management, risk modelling or actuarial data analytics
- Knowledge of Solvency II is an advantage
- Strong analytical skills, programming skills and/or data analytics skills (e.g. R, SQL, Matlab, Power BI etc.) are very beneficial
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and willingness to learn
- Ability and experience in communicating complex matters in a transparent and clear way, both orally and in writing
- Fluency in spoken and written English and German required
