Join us this Summer for our Structured Internship Program from May to August 2025. In addition to gaining valuable work experience alongside industry experts, you will also benefit from ongoing engagement, career development and networking activities.
 

You will be part of Munich Re’s Central Life Reserving Unit in Singapore, and will be providing valuable support to the actuarial modelling team. 

 

Your Role:

• You will support the senior actuaries on the regional modelling and valuation support provided to the business units in Asia markets (i.e., Southeast Asia, Korea, Japan, Malaysia Retakaful, and Dubai)

• You will contribute to the development and maintenance of AXIS models, ensuring they are optimised and aligned with regulatory and business requirements.

• You will conduct analysis on Solvency II and IFRS 17 valuation results, interpreting outcomes to support strategic decision-making.

• You will assist in improving efficiencies within Health cashflow models to streamline processes and improve performance.

• You will respond to ad-hoc requests and inquiries from business units, providing actuarial support as required.

• You will prepare detailed documentation on all work performed, ensuring traceability and transparency in the methodologies and findings.
   

Your Profile:

• Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering or Mathematics 

• Fluent in English (both verbal and written business level)

• Good analytical abilities and proficient in resolving challenges

• Knowledge in Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), VBA, ACCESS/SQL will be an advantage
