In order to strengthen its organizational resilience, Munich Re has decided to further improve its global business continuity, emergency, and crisis management capabilities in a holistic manner. As a Senior Business Continuity Manager, you will be supporting the Munich Re headquarters in establishing consistency across the global organization and creating a strong network of regional BCM organizations.

Your job

• Further strengthening business continuity, emergency and crisis management in close cooperation with Group companies
• Maintaining an interface between BCM, IT Service Continuity Management and other supporting functions (in particular Procurement, Facility Management and HR)
• Accompanying all BCM steps (lifecycle elements) from governance to business impact and risk analysis to emergency planning
• Implementing training and awareness measures as well as tests and exercises
• Further developing global crisis management, taking into account local emergency organizations
• Reporting implementation status, potential improvements and concrete further development steps to management
  

Your profile

• Several years of professional experience in business continuity management (or related disciplines), preferably in the financial sector
• Proof of professional certifications (e.g. ISO 22301 Lead Implementer/Auditor)
• Knowledge of related legal and regulatory requirements in the financial sector
• Broad understanding of related disciplines such as information risk, vendor risk, IT service continuity or operational risk management
• Practical experience with BCM-related solutions, such as alerting tools and GRC platforms
• Strong (project) planning, organizational, and presentation skills
• Very good command of German and English
• Experience in working with colleagues across different entities and locations globally
• Willingness to travel
